Meet Your Greensboro Chiropractors
Greensboro Chiropractor Dr. Rick Franks

Like most of you, growing up I had no idea what chiropractor did. I would do what everybody else did… grab pills and eat them every time I felt bad. But something inside me kept telling me that was wrong and there was a better way to health. I attended college and began my teaching career but wasn’t happy. One night in a conversation with my dad over my future, a small voice from within told me to go become a chiropractor. I had no idea what chiropractors did and had never been to one. But the voice wouldn’t go away, so I began investigating it.
The more I looked, the more the chiropractic philosophy made sense to me. I learned the major premise behind chiropractic is that the power that made us in the first place is the same power that heals us and keeps us healthy. What a concept!!!
I learned so much
I also discovered the importance of a fully functioning nerve system and how it affects everything in our lives from our health to our work and play and just everyday general being. I began to study more and realized that it made much more sense than taking pills or shots “for relief of symptoms only.” A year later and against my family and friends’ “best wishes” I gave up what little I had accumulated and moved to Marietta, GA. to begin Chiropractic school at Life University of Chiropractic. Thirty years later the principles of chiropractic are still true and I have never looked back on my decision. I’m just glad I listened to that little voice inside.
I practiced in Smyrna, GA. for 15 years, running 5 offices, teaching other chiropractors, serving as vice-president of my state association and writing a book. Then my wife Martha and I fell in love with the lake. With no chiropractor here, we decided to bring our 3 boys, Jackson, Alan and Tyler (by the way, my boys were born at home, never had a shot and lived to tell about it!!!) here for a little more wholesome life.
So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
All I can tell you is that if you knew what I knew, you’d do what I do and that’s get under regular chiropractic care.
“Thank you for visiting our site. I hope it can be a source of hope and healing for you. We are committed to helping you reach your full potential and will do whatever is necessary to help you reach your goals. If you have any questions, please contact me.

From the day of his birth, Dr. Tyler Franks has received Chiropractic care from his father, Dr. Rick Franks. Dr. Tyler grew up in the Lake Oconee area, attending Gatewood Schools and Athens Academy before moving to Atlanta to further his tennis career.
Dr. Tyler would often meet his father’s patients around town in which they would express their appreciation for how much he had helped them and their children and how much their lives had improved since getting under chiropractic care. After living very much of a healthy life under chiropractic care himself, and hearing of the experiences of his dad’s patients, Dr. Tyler came to the conclusion that more chiropractic care is what was needed in this world.
Dr. Tyler began his education at Georgia College and State University (Georgia College) on a tennis scholarship for four years where he received a degree in Exercise Science.
Afterwards, he attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia for four additional years of education where received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Tyler is now working full time with his father and looks forward to continuing his legacy in the lake area and helping people attain more of their God given potential in one of the world’s largest chiropractic offices.

After graduating from Life University I knew I had no idea how to own my own practice. I decided to find an associateship hoping whoever I got the chance to work with would be willing to teach me everything I needed to know about running and owning a practice. Finding that opportunity was more difficult than expected. Then I was blessed to go to Dr. Rick Frank’s free seminar, a students guide on how to run a successful practice. This was where he gave me his book Prepare for Success. One of the first lessons I learned from his book was to work with and
study under a chiropractor that is successfully practicing the way you want to practice.
I decided to reach out to Dr. Franks during my search. After shadowing Dr. Rick and Dr. Tyler Franks for a day I knew they were living my dream. They then told me “We will teach you everything”. That is all I needed to hear to move to the quaint town of Greensboro GA and wow, have they delivered. I had no idea the time, money and energy the Franks would put into my growth. Dr. Rick truly cares about the future of chiropractic, and building up the best chiropractors in all of his associates. I can 100% say that I am reaching my full potential at a more accelerated rate then I ever imagined possible. I am so thankful I didn’t simply take a regular associate job, but found myself a mentor. A true master of our profession, with a heart to serve.
I would advise any new chiropractor who wants to deepen their understanding of the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic to check out Frank’s Chiropractic Life Center. It has been an amazing practice to start my career at, and with their guidance and support I know one day I know I will be ready to start a practice of my own.
